The integration of the preliminary stage industry as an integral part of the fashion business is
a natural development of BREAD & BUTTER. The new concept integrates the THE SOURCE exhibitors in their market-specific environment in the respective areas of BREAD & BUTTER BERLIN.

In the new area L.O.C.K. - Labels of Common Kin, a very special selection of denim-oriented brands, their corresponding denim-weavers, accessory producers and finishers can be found. In a special “Laboratorio” in the L.O.C.K., TRC Candiani, Elleti and Okinawa show the complete production circle of a jeans to the trade visitors. These customized jeans are unique items, and can be bought at BREAD & BUTTER. The proceeds go to the charitable “Doctors Without Borders” (Medici Senza Frontiere – Italia) project.

In addition to that, a selection of the best denim and urbanwear-oriented companies of the sourcing industry, such as Royo, ITV and others, are exhibiting in the prominently situated
gates above the airfield and the Denim Base, close to the big players of the Denim Base.
