History
Chotovelli & Figli, translated to Chotovelli and sons, is a third
Generation of ‘orologiaio’ (watchmaker).
It all started in the late 1920’s with Simone Chotovelli, the first
Chotovelli Orologiaio. His craftsmanship and specialty in repairing
And restoring old mechanical movements was Well known.
In 1967 he passed the knowledge and know-how to His son Yitzchak Chotovelli who carried on the legacy to become a well Established watchmaker.
In 2005, brother and sister Ilan and Tamara Chotovelli were Inspired to revive the family tradition, launching a unique Retro Pilot Watch Collection .
Philosophy
Our watch company Chotovelli & Figli is a small watch manufacturer, we manufacture approx 300 watches a month , each watch is carefully hand crafted to the highest standard.
Our strategy is not just to sell watches, our goal is to create a timepiece that is special ,unique, different , exclusive and yet inexpensive and grow our share in the modern watch market by increasing volume gradually and keeping the prices at the current levels.
The difference between Chotovelli and other watch brand is that we operate more as a design house by that offering every season a different collection an expanding the reach of watchmaking .
