Visitor Criteria
The BREAD & BUTTER BERLIN is the leading international fair for street and urban wear and positions itself as a marketing and communication platform for brands, labels and designers from the areas of denim, sportswear, street fashion, function wear and casual dressed up.
As such it is not open to the public and only registered trade visitors and accredited journalists are able to access the tradeshow.
Trade visitors are:
- Retailer
- Wholesalers
- Suppliers
- Private labels
- Agencies
Unauthorized visitors are:
- Companies/persons without relation to the fashion industry
- Employees of vertical clothing companies
- Students

VISITORS
Required Documents
In addition to your registration, we require at least one of the following documents to legitimate you as a professional visitor.
Documents retailer and wholesalers:
- Copy of a recent order confirmation or invoice over the purchase of clothing/accessories in commercially used quantities
- Information about your company (website, catalogue, brands, prices, etc.)
- Invitation of a B&B exhibitor
Supplier’s proof:
- Invitation of a B&B exhibitor
- Copy of a recent order confirmation or invoice over the purchase of clothing/accessories in commercially used quantities (drapery/ buttons, etc.)
Documents private label:
- Information about your company/products (website, catalogue, brands, prices)
Documents agencies:
- Copy of order acknowledgment
- Information about Agency (e.g. type of agency, clients, website, etc.)
- Invitation of a B&B exhibitor
The BREAD & BUTTER reserves the right to reject registration requests after thorough examination.
Misrepresentation of position and/or publication/media organization and forgery of documents will bar you from all future BREAD & BUTTER events.
VISITORS
NEW REGISTRATION ON EVENT
Visitors who did not sign up via online registration tool until 06.01.2012, pay a one-time handling fee on event. This regulation applies to their accompanying persons as well.
A personalized or non-personalized invitation from a B&B exhibitor refers only to the business relationship between the 2 parties and does not exempt from the handling fee.
Excluded from the handling fee are those, who are already registered in the BREAD & BUTTER database, employees of exhibiting companies and press accreditations.
The handling fee is a one-time payment for the first registration. Afterwards, the contact details will be restored in the BREAD & BUTTER database until revocation.
Modes of payment:
Debit cards and major credit cards (except Diners Club) will be accepted as modes of payment on event. Cash payment is not possible.
