The old fire station of Airport Berlin-Tempelhof has now become the L.O.C.K. extension: FIRE DEPT. – the platform for global trading nomads, owner-driven collections and core L.O.C.K.sters.
This authentic community is committed to the essence of product awareness. Pure goods based on a pure attitude by real people united at the new FIRE DEPT.

L.O.C.K. Manufactory
Made in Germany
The L.O.C.K. Manufactory – Made in Germany is a separate conglomerate of successful manufactories that produce their goods in Germany and are providing an insight into their crafts in their very own showroom in the L.O.C.K. area. The L.O.C.K.
Manufactory combines industrial design with a workshop atmosphere and atelier under the quality seal "Made in Germany". The products are created with true craftsmanship and represent passion and the enduring quality of tried-and-tested methods. Tradition and German workmanship are paired with innovative expertise. This results in a synergy that defines the zeitgeist, preserves what is good and shapes the future.
Eight manufactories are brought together in the L.O.C.K. Manufactory – Made in Germany: Schuh Bertl from Munich, the specialist in traditional welt and double-stitched shoemaking techniques; Uwe van Afferden from Düsseldorf with his new magazine The Heritage Post; Windmühlenmesser from Solingen with handmade knives; J.R.Ledermanufaktur with handmade leather goods from Berlin-Mitte; Druckery from Berlin with their historic hand press; Edsor Berlin, renowned for classic-style creative cravats, ties and scarves; the label Merz b. Schwanen which has breathed new life into the historical looms from the Swabian Alb mountains for the production of fine undergarments and shirts and watchmaker Laco with their museum pieces.
