Back in the 90s it was all about a washed pair of Levi’s Silver Tab jeans. Now, nearly 30 years later Levi’s brought the Silver Tab line back at Bread & Butter.


The City That Never Sleeps

Much like Levi’s classic denim, the German capital is perennially the height of cool.

Only a few brands can truly be called iconic and American denim specialist, Levi’s, are certainly one such example. Music has always played a key role in the label’s DNA and this season they are referencing the royalty of the 1960s and 1970s subculture. Joan Jett and the Ramones – known fans of their blue denim – play a prominent role. The AW17 collection takes rock ‘n’ roll influences and blends them effortlessly with a contemporary styling aesthetic.
What better city to celebrate music in than Berlin? In response to the German capital’s inspiring sound, Levi’s created a Limited Edition Graphic Tee to mark Bread & Butter 2017. The denim gurus proclaim: ‘Berlin never goes out of style’. And, as dwellers of this fine city, we agree!
Berliners by their very nature go against the grain (ask the rest of Germany!), so at the Bread & Butter 2017 Brand Lab guests had the chance to enhance their favourite Levi denim with custom embroidery and patches. Whether it’s a nickname, favourite quote or a cute pineapple, guests transformed their garment to align with the graffiti-strewn streets of this city that famously never sleeps.
