FashionRecaps From Your Favourite Runway Shows at B&&B

Throughout the weekend, Bread&Butter guests had exclusive access to fashion shows by your favourite brands. Rather than typical catwalks and full collections, at Bread&Butter, brands embraced participation, openness, and multi-sensory storytelling. The use of installations, plus a fresh interpretation of key trends behind each AW16 collection, added further twists to what a fashion show can be NOW. We’ve rounded up the highlights here:

PUMA FASHION SHOW
Puma brought out their latest AW16 footwear and apparel designs such as the Women’s Gold Pack Collection featuring Kylie Jenner’s Puma Fierce, the Puma x Careaux Collection—a collaboration with sneakerhead Caroll Lyn, and an update on the iconic Suede.

TOPSHOP FASHION SHOW
For their first Berlin fashion show, Topshop showcased their catwalk edit, which blended inspirations from ’80s punk and 90s grunge, for a collection of New Romantic-inspired leather, ruffled lace and cutaway denim upgraded with personalised embroidery, slogans, and badges.

SELECTED FEMME / HOMME FASHION SHOW
Selected Femme / Homme presented a vision of Scandinavian minimalism mixed with elements of Danish nature. Visitors could experience augmented reality from your mobile, preview the collection, explore the multiple dimensions of Scandinavian scenery.

HUGO FASHION SHOW
HUGO showcased the latest AW16 collections for men and women: modern tailored designs and directional accessories, with a unique and unconventional edge.

TOPMAN FASHION SHOW
Topman debuted reworked takes on classic outerwear silhouettes, grungy denim, streetwear inspired by LA’s urban culture and a Topman essential: the souvenir jacket.

IVYREVEL FASHION SHOW
The brainchild of Swedish blogger Kenza Zouiten, Ivyrevel is inspired by urban contrasts, strong independent women and the contemporary now. Their sparkling showing at B&&B featured plenty of gold, a dash of luxe bohemian embroidery, and a fling with the ’90s.

SET FASHION SHOW
Set is a mix of modern romanticism meets punk rock darkness, femme fatale meets the military, plus Jane Birkin, and ’60s preppy style. We saw this all on the runway in the form of blazers, long dresses, trench coats in moody blacks, crimson reds, indigo blues.

ZALANDO “THIS IS NOW” FASHION SHOW
Bold, confident and daring, opulence is the key trend for Zalando’s Autumn Winter campaign, “This is NOW,” which was presented during their upbeat, musical fashion show. A walk through the new season took us along an alley of embellished details, glorious patterns, luscious layering and glamorous accessories.
